Chattanooga, Tennessee Reunion October 15-18th, 2024

Monday, October 14th: MANY of the attendees came early and most of us had a drink and casual bite to eat at the hotel chalet’s diner called eLSIE’S DAUGHTER. 

Tuesday, October 15th:  thirty nine members gathered for the reunion Meet and Greet at stir, a casual restaurant at the repurposed chattanooga chOO chOO train station, where we had drinks and a delightful meal. many just stayed and chatted there.

wednesday, October 16th: everyone had the day to tour the area and went to places like lookout mountain, the various civil war battle areas and a number of museums and other attractions.

At 6:00 PM we PROCEEDED the river pier to have a sunset cruise abord the “Southern belle” riverboat.  it was a gorgeous evening with a clear sky and WE HAD A full moon greetinG us as we returned to the dock.  immediatey afterward, we walked to the Overboard Bar and grill located next to the boat dock for a filling buffet dinner. 

Thursday, October 17th: AGAIN, everyone had the day to tour the area and went to places like lookout mountain, the various civil war battle areas and a number of museums and other attractions.

For dinner, we went to “the public house” and had a fabulous dinner in a PRIVATE room (granted a little tight for our large turnout).

After dinner, we discussed the next year’s reunion in huntsville, alabama that will hosted by baRbara and mark brown. it was reafirmed that in 2026, the 25th year of the reunion, we will meet back where it all started, in San Antonio, Texas!
